Turf Calculator
Keep in Mind: This calculator is used to help determine how much sod you will need. Add 5-10% for odd spaces and inaccuracy in measurement. For the most accurate calculation, please contact our staff. Sod is cut and placed on pallets for shipment or pick up. A pallet will hold approximately 360 sq. feet or 450 sq. feet depending on the variety of turf chosen that will best meet your particular job requirements. Each pallet weighs approximately 1500 to 2000 pounds.
Note: A standard piece of sod is approximately 18 x 24 inches. Big roll sod is approximately 42 inches wide x 103 feet long and requires special equipment to install.
